Baa Baa Black Sheep (AKA Black Sheep Squadron) - 'The Final Season' is Confirmed for DVD!!!

Three weeks ago we broke the news that Shout! Factory was working on a title only listed as "Baa Baa Black Sheep - Black Sheep Squadron"...and we were unsure at the time whether it was or was not the long-awaited second (and final) season of the fan-favorite show starring Robert Conrad as a fictionalized version of real life World War 2 air combat hero Major Greg "Pappy" Boyington. Our update just a couple of days later didn't shed much new light on the situation. But now we've got the full story!

While Shout! Factory hasn't formally provided an announcement for this item, they've provide odvdo.com's pre-order listing (see button link below) with package art which verifies that this 3-DVD set IS "Baa Baa Black Sheep - Black Sheep Squadron: The Final Season"...that could ONLY be the second and last season of the series! Price is $24.97 SRP, but you can pre-order it from www.odvdo.com heavily discounted (at least as of this writing) to just $14.99...whoa. It streets on March 8th; I can't wait. Time to re-watch the old Volume 1 and Volume 2 sets which make up the first season, and get ready to enjoy the rest when it finally makes its DVD debut. Thanks, Shout!; we appreciate it!!
