Last of the Summer Wine - 'Vintage 2005' DVDs Will Be Available Next Week!
The senior delinquents of the Yorkshire Dales continue to resist growing wiser with age in another season of the world's longest running sitcom. The gang encounters a pickle-factory worker who dreams of sailing off in a swan boat, Nora attracts attention with her irresistible baked goods, and Clegg finds himself in quite a predicament when he decides to climb a tree. Peter Sallis, Frank Thornton, Brian Murphy, and Keith Clifford star as Clegg, Truly, Alvin, and Billy in ten wonderfully silly episodes, plus the 2005 Christmas Special, "Merry Entwistle and Jackson Day."
This coming Tuesday, October 6th, BBC Home Entertainment and distributor Warner Home Video will release Last of the Summer Wine - Vintage 2005 on DVD. The 2-disc set will cost $34.98 SRP, and here's the cover art:
