Matt Houston - We've Got an Update About When You Can Expect to Get the VEI DVDs

This past May we reported that the 1982 series Matt Houston, starring Lee Horsley and Pamela Hensley, and joined by Buddy Ebsen in the third and final season - was coming to DVD this year from Visual Entertainment, Inc. (VEI). Recently, though, we got an email from one of our readers, who had written to VEI to check and see when exactly it was coming. The studio's customer service team responded that it was still in-the-works, but that it has been pushed back a bit: "VEI is sheduled to release 'Matt Houston, the complete series' in the first quarter of 2016." (emphasis ours).
With so many shows that VEI has been working on for the last half of this year (including Barnaby Jones, Cannon, Grace Under Fire and Hotel), it's no surprise to us if some of the titles they announced last May end up slipping until early next year. After all, it gives them more time to work on them and provide the best possible product. Stay tuned for the word about finalized dates, contents, pricing, and box art.
