Summary of Mike and Molly Season 2 DVD Box Set

After their engagement, trouble arises when Molly wants to start planning their wedding, while Mike wants to go fishing with the guys. Molly wants Mike to check out a wedding location near the lake and Mike is not happy with it.

Mike's Mom, Peggy, prepares to give a birthday gift to Dennis (William Sanderson), her boyfriend, but it's Peggy who is in for a surprise when Dennis drops dead.

After Mike moves in with Molly and her family, he must adjust from living in a bachelor pad to a house full of women. He loves the food Molly's mom makes and spends a lot of time "working" on the roof. Victoria and Joyce see a lot of Molly's dad in Mike.

Molly wants to save money for their wedding, but Mike is lured into buying Vince’s 1957 Chevy Bel Air. When the car is not what it promises to be, he tries to return it.

Despite Mike’s good intentions, he adds fuel to the fire when Molly and her family get in a fight. Victoria decides to move out based on her talk with Mike.

Mike is spooked when Molly's boss invites them to a party on Halloween, a holiday he dreads. He eventually gives in and goes to the party to help Molly get the Vice Principal job.

Carl tries to get a date with an attractive woman (guest star Holly Robinson Peete) he meets at the diner; after some hiccups, he starts going out with her.
