Bones Renewed For Season 9

Bones will return! Fans of Fox's crime procedural Bones will be very happy to learn that Fox has renewed the show for a ninth season. The drama has already passed the 150-episode mark, which is an impressive feat for any show these days. And though Bones' ratings have slipped a bit in recent years, the drama still has a loyal fan base.

Fox didn't specify how many episodes we'll see for Season 9 when they announced the show's renewal, nor did they mention whether or not Season 9 would be the last, but given its age, that's always a possibility,blu ray movie rental. Still, the early renewal is likely to be great news for fans of the show.

Bones stars Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan, a forensic anthropologist who works alongside David Boreanaz's FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth to solve crimes that often involve human remains. Bones' expertise in the subject of the human skeleton allows her to see things in bones that others might not notice or connect with the cause of death (or clues in the investigation). Bones' team of scientists also bring their own expertise to the table. With humor and drama worked into this suspenseful investigation series, Bones really isn't like anything else on television, which is likely how it's managed to maintain much (if not all) of its audience over the years.
