BBC Home Entertainment is putting out the "BBC Literary Collection," and the focus of the three upcoming releases is author Elizabeth Gaskell. Several TV adaptions of her classic books are being released (or re-released) on DVD this coming March 1st.
One of the re-releases is 1999's Wives and Daughters, starring Francesca Annis (Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime), Justine Waddell (Tess of the D'Urbervilles), Bill Paterson (Outlander), and Keeley Hawes (MI-5), among others. It was originally released on DVD in North America way back in 2001, but has since been discontinued. Now they are re-releasing the 3-disc set, in new packaging (scroll down to see the cover art), and with price of $34.98 SRP. According to www.goodtvshowdvd.com (see button link just below), it looks like it will contain the same three bonus items as the previous version:
