The Merv Griffin Show - Details and Packaging for 'Best of the 60's,' 'the 70's,' 'the 80's'

A week-and-a-half-ago we reported that on December 8th MPI Home Video will release 3 different DVD sets: The Merv Griffin Show - Best of the 60's, Best of the 70's, and Best of the 80's. Each of these 4-disc packages are priced at $39.98 SRP. We now have a look at the package art (small at first, then larger at the bottom), and the studio's description of each of these 3 titles:
The Merv Griffin Show is widely considered one of the premier talk shows in the history of television. Hosted by the charming and intelligent Merv Griffin, this groundbreaking show was known for in-depth inter views with celebrities and newsmakers, innovative stand-up comedy and stellar musical performances. Over the course of its run from 1962 to 1986, the show garnered 10 Emmy Awards and welcomed more than 25,000 guests, including many of the most important names in the fields of entertainment, politics, music, art, sports, fashion and literature.
