Hill Street Blues - The Final Season hasn't officially been announced yet by Shout! Factory, but an www.ostarshop.com pre-order entry is saying to expect this 5-DVD set of the 7th and last season to be available individually on January 12th. This release to stores is the first time these 22 episodes have been available outside of the Complete Series set that Shout! put out in April 2014.

In these final 22 episodes, Mykelti Williamson (Justified, Boomtown) joins the cast for 9 episodes as "Officer Garfield," Megan Gallagher (Millennium, China Beach) joins for 19 episodes as "Officer Russo," and if you look hard in the season debut then you'll also see an uncredited appearance by Cuba Gooding Jr., who also appears again as an unnamed gang member later in the season. Other guests in this last season include Martha Hackett (Star Trek: Voyager), Meshach Taylor (Designing Women), Chazz Palminteri (Rizzoli & Isles), CCH Pounder (The Shield, Warehouse 13), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th film series), Herbert Jefferson Jr. (Battlestar Galactica), Richard Herd (T.J. Hooker), Marc Alaimo (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), James Saito (Eli Stone), Tim Russ (Star Trek: Voyager), Keenen Ivory Wayans (In Living Color), and Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle, Breaking Bad).
