DCI Banks - New U.S. Street Date for 'Season 3'...Just Days Away!

Detective Chief Inspector Alan Banks Stephen Tompkinson (Ballykissangel) returns for three more gripping crime stories based on Peter Robinson's award-winning series of novels in DCI Banks: Season Three.

When the mother of an 11-year-old boy reports him abducted by a man and a woman masquerading as social workers, Banks is drawn into a strange and unsettling search for the missing child; when a journalist is found dead at a holiday home in a remote village, Banks and the team find a connection to a death in the 1980s involving the surviving members of a pop band; and a terrible chain of events is set in motion by the discovery of a loaded gun in a young girl's bedroom, ultimately putting Banks' own daughter in mortal danger.

Joining Banks are Detectives Helen Morton (Caroline Catz, Doc Martin), whose relationship with her son is becoming increasingly strained, and Annie Cabbot (Andrea Lowe, The Tudors), who returns from a year's maternity leave to face a difficult case that will force her to reveal the identity of her child's father.
At the end of this past January, we had early word of a May 5th date planned for DCI Banks - Season 3 on DVD. However, as fans of the show know, that date never came to be! The title came out in Canada this past September 8th, but what about the United States? Well, never fear.

This coming Tuesday, October 6th, BBC Home Entertainment and distributor Warner Home Video will release DCI Banks - Season 3 on DVD in the U.S.A.! The 2-disc set will cost $34.98 SRP, and here's the cover art:
