There are those who steer clear of the Peaky Blinders gang, and those who wish they had. In early twentieth century Birmingham, the gang, named for the razor blades sewn into the peaks of their caps, and their dangerous leader Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy, The Dark Knight Rises) rule the streets.

But Shelby's ambitions extend beyond running the streets, and he is determined to move up in the world. In the searing first season of the acclaimed drama, the Blinders have the full attention of Inspector Campbell (Sam Neill, Jurassic Park), who has the monumental task of taking back the bloody streets of Birmingham. BBC Home Entertainment is preparing an October 20th release in North America for Peaky Blinders - Series 1 on DVD ($29.98 SRP) and Blu-ray Disc ($34.98 SRP). These 2-disc sets include all 6 episodes (whose cast includes the names noted in the studio description quoted at top, plus Helen McCrory of the Harry Potter films and of Skyfall).
