The 100 - MOD Release Indicated for 'The Complete 2nd Season' on Blu-ray

This past July, we brought you Warner Home Video's official press release for The 100 - The Complete 2nd Season, showing that the October 13th street date for a "wide" general release into stores would be for DVD only. This disappointed fans who bought the show's first season on high-def Blu-ray Disc, and hoped to continue buying it in that format. Now we've got potential good news for you!

As of this writing, the Warner Archive Collection hasn't announced it yet, neither officially nor through their social media presence on sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Tumblr. Nor is it currently up for pre-order at the HIDVDS.COM online studio store, or other Warner Archive sellers (such as odvdo.com). But yesterday afternoon, the folks at VideoETA - a website produced by wholesaler/distributor Ingram Entertainment - added a listing that shows an MOD (manufacture on demand) release of The 100 - The Complete 2nd Season on Blu-ray Disc is scheduled to be available on October 27th, two weeks after the DVD's general release. Cost shown is $40.99 SRP; details and cover art weren't provided, and we don't know if this date and cost info is finalized just yet. Stay tuned for updates!
