Martin Clunes (Men Behaving Badly) returns as Dr. Martin Ellingham in the seventh series of this smash-hit British comedy. In these eight all new episodes, the doctor continues his practice in the picturesque seaside town of Portwenn, while raising his son and nurturing his marriage to Louisa. Also starring Caroline Catz (Murder in Suburbia), Ian McNeice (Dune), and Emmy winner Eileen Atkins (Cranford).
RLJ Entertainment's Acorn brand hasn't officially announced it yet, but so many of you have written in (thanks to each of you!) that we couldn't wait: www.goodtvshowdvd.com has pre-order listings on DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc for Doc Martin - Series 7. This is a set of episodes which makes it's U.S. debut for "airing" on October 5th, on the Acorn TV streaming service. But www.goodtvshowdvd.com says you can own the new series (season) on December 8th, with either format being 2 discs for $39.99 SRP. Package art and other details aren't available yet, but stay tuned!

We assume that the on-disc contents of this big package are the same as found on the DVDs of the previously available individually-sold Acorn-brand sets, released between 2009 and 2013.
