Sister, Sister - Oh, Brother! What's Happening With the Sisters on DVD? Studio Says...

This past May we reported that the 1994 series Sister, Sister, starring real-life twins Tia and Tamera Mowry, along with Jackée Harry and Tim Reid - was coming to DVD this year from Visual Entertainment, Inc. (VEI). Recently, though, we got an email from one of our longtime readers, who had written to VEI to check and see what the rough timeframe was for this show. The studio's customer service team responded that it was still in their DVD plans, but that it has been pushed back a bit: "Sister Sister is scheduled for the first quarter of 2016." (emphasis ours).
With so many shows that VEI has been working on for the last half of this year (including Barnaby Jones, Cannon, Grace Under Fire and Hotel), it's no surprise to us if some of the titles they announced last May end up slipping until early next year. After all, it gives them more time to work on them and provide the best possible product. Stay tuned for the word about finalized dates, contents, pricing, and box art.
