Alvinnn!!! And the Chipmunks - 'Alvin's Wild Adventures' on DVD...AND on Blu-ray! ***UPDATE/CORRECTION***
An pair of www.odvdo.com pre-order listings informs us that Alvin & the Chipmunks - Alvinnn!!!'s Wild Adventures is coming out this November 10th, on DVD and also on high-def Blu-ray Disc! It's priced at $14.99 SRP for the DVD version, and $24.99 SRP for what some sources are saying will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo set. Package art isn't available at this time, but stay tuned for updates!
UPDATE/CORRECTION (9/4): Overnight we've gotten emails from quite a number of you pointing out that we REALLY flubbed this news: the DVDs and Blu-rays listed above are NOT about the classic 1983 show at all, but rather for the just-debuted (a month ago yesterday!) Nickelodeon-aired program "Alvinnn!!! And the Chipmunks." And the home video releases are properly called "Alvinnn!!! & the Chipmunks - Alvin's Wild Adventures." Mea culpa; the brand new series slipped my mind and I just automatically connected the release with the old show. I promise to try to pay more attention next time! Our thanks to every one of our readers who took the time to write in and keep me on my toes.
