For the second season, the survivors investigate a new viral outbreak on a remote island inhabited by a mysterious cult.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment hasn't formally announced it yet, but we've gotten word from Canadian retail sources that on July 28th the studio will release Helix - The Complete 2nd Season on DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. With word of the Syfy show's cancellation coming down, these will the the last 13 episodes of the program's run. Joining Billy Campbell (Once and Again) and team this season are Steven Weber (Wings), Matt Long (Jack & Bobby), and Alison Louder (Being Human). Details, package art and pricing for this title haven't been made available yet, but stay tuned!
