Visual Entertainment, Inc. (VEI) is well-known in North America for TV-DVD releases (in both the USA and Canada) of some highly acclaimed television shows, including Cagney & Lacey, The Equalizer, Nash Bridges, Hell's Kitchen, Diagnosis Murder, McMillan and Wife, In Search Of..., The Mod Squad, John Byner's Bizarre, (Chef Gordon) Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, and many more. Now the Toronto-based studio is announcing that in the 3rd and 4th Quarters of 2015 they are releasing a huge slate of new TV-DVDs, and one of the classic television programs included in that slate will be Hotel:
This 3 time Golden Globe nominated show starring James Brolin and Connie Sellecca takes place at the St. Gregory Hotel in San Francisco, where they both become deeply involved in the exploits of famous guest stars who shine in dramatic episodes filled with romance and intrigue.
This show is just ONE item taken from a very impressive list of 12 named shows (see our eleven other news posts today for those items). NOTE that specific release dates have NOT BEEN SET so far...nor do we have details or package art at this time, either; just the heads-up to expect this release during the second half of the year. Also, VEI's president, Jeff Sprigg, notes that there are "Many More Releases Coming!"

"The 1st Season" of Hotel was previously released by Paramount Home Video on DVD in 2009, but the remaining four seasons of the show's 5-season run have never come out so far. Utilizing a format similar to The Love Boat, the premise of the program is that each week a big line-up of well-known celebrities guest star in each episode...far too many to name here (in our 2009 write-up about the first season DVD set, the list of guest stars for that one season took up an enormous paragraph!). Needless to say, you would be impressed and thrilled to see all the names involved! We can't wait to bring you more details. Stay tuned for updates, as further developments occur.
