Hart of Dixie - Warner to Bring Out 'The Complete 3rd Season' DVDs at Last!

Talented Dr. Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson, The OC.) is just about to settle down in Manhattan with her new boyfriend Joel (guest star Josh Cooke) when Blue Bell lures her back with unfinished business. As the season begins and Zoe fights to regain her practice from Dr. Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson) and New Yorker Joel struggles to blend in, small-town life and love carries on.
Lemon Breeland (Jaime King) and Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel) become unlikely business partners, Mayor Layon Hayes (Cress Williams) finds happiness with AnnaBeth Nass (Kaitlyn Black), and George Tucker (Scott Porter) suffers yet another broken heart or does he? Filled with charming Southern traditions, hotheaded feuds, devastating breakups and heartfelt new passions, Season Three will melt your heart with big-time laughs and small-town style.
After DVD sets for the first two seasons came out in October 2012 and October 2013, respectively, fans were upset when Hart of Dixie - The Complete 3rd Season didn't make it into stores this past October. The studio has not officially given a reason for this, but our friends in the retail industry say - in hushed whispers - that sales for the first two season sets didn't exactly set the world on fire, and that the big chain stores were reluctant to stock the third season set on their shelves. That's just gossip, though...we have no idea if it's accurate, so please take it with a grain of salt.
Whatever the reason, there's no way Warner would abandon the fans and deprive them of a season set forever. So we hope readers are thrilled to know that the studio has decided to move forward and sell the title directly to fans, through their Warner Archive Collection MOD program! Early word is that Hart of Dixie - The Complete 3rd Season will become available very soon...perhaps as early as a week from now, on March 17th. Other rumors say it might be a few weeks later, such as April 7th. The item isn't up for pre-order yet, so we're not certain, and those dates may be subject to change. Pricing seems to be looking at $40.99 SRP, but that's not set in stone yet, either. Here's an early (and somewhat fuzzy; sorry!) look at the possible cover art:
