The Equalizer - Date for 'The Complete Season 3'; Box Art for 'Season 3' and 'Season 4'

Edward Woodward is the steely eyed Robert McCall who fashions himself as "The Equalizer," a citizen's mercenary, who helps those in need of protection and who have nowhere else to go. With years of experience working as a skilled operative for the shadowy government agency known as "The Company," McCall promises to even the odds against you.

Season Three features guest appearances from a range of stars including: Telly Savalas (Kojak), Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone), Vincent D'Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent), and Patricia Richardson (Home Improvement) along with the indomitable music of Stewart Copeland of The Police.

Season Four is the very last season of "The Equalizer." This season features has guest appearances from stars such as: Stanley Tucci (Hunger Games), Laurence Fishburne (Hannibal), Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible), Melissa Sue Anderson (Little House on the Prairie), and Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) along with the mesmerising soundtrack from Stewart Copeland of The Police.
This past summer, VEI (Visual Entertainment, Inc.) released the long-awaited second season set, and soon after put out all four seasons with their Complete Collection gift set. Following the latter, fans began asking when individual releases would be coming along for the third and fourth seasons. While we haven't gotten official word from the studio on this yet, the folks at VideoETA - a site produced by distributor Ingram Entertainment - have now added The Equalizer - The Complete Season 3 to their calendar, showing it scheduled for January 27th. VEI's microsite for the show doesn't confirm the date, but it does provide Season 3 information (quoted at top) and box art (seen below), and also shows that Season 4 is also in-the-works, with info (above) and artwork (below) provided for it as well. odvdo.com has a listing for the third season (see button link below), but it shows an incorrect release date of October 24th, and they also have a wrong date for the fourth season (claiming November 25th, at the listing also accessible by the same button link below). We expect VEI to work with their distributor and get those dates corrected in the near future! In the meantime, take a peek at the packaging:
