Olympics push 'American Idol' ratings to new low
You can bet NBC’s rivals are ready for the Olympics to be over.
Thursday night found Fox&rsquo,The Bletchley Circle Season 1 DVD Boxset;s American Idol ,True Blood Season 5 DVD Box Set;getting crushed in the ratings while other networks ran for cover by airing mostly repeats.

While Idol sank to a series low, with 9.2 million viewers and a 2.4 rating.
