Kung Fu Panda is a 2008 computer-animated film from DreamWorks Animation and Paramount Pictures, starring the voice talents of Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Jackie Chan, and more. Set in the Valley of Peace, a fictional land in ancient China inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, Kung Fu Panda tells the tale of Po (Jack Black), a clumsy, chubby, young panda who loves kung fu and idolizes the Furious Five. When the Furious Five Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu), and Crane (David Cross) need his help to protect the Valley of Peace from the evil snow leopard, Tai Lung (Ian McShane), he eagerly leaves his job at his father Ping's (James Hong) noodle restaurant and trains to become a kung fu master. Training can be hard, though, and there isn't much time. Can Po pull it off? Kung Fu Panda is a comedy-packed, action-packed film that will have audiences roaring with laughter all the way through.
